Smoked salmon pasta

(For 2 people)

Ingredients⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • dried pasta (around 100g per person)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • 50g smoked salmon⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • 1 mug frozen peas⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • a lemon⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • 2 tablespoons creme fresh⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Method⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • Cook pasta in salted water until al dente (follow pack instructions
  • Drain pasta, holding back a little of the pan water⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • Add peas, mix⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • Add salmon, gently stir⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • Add creme fresh and pan water until both coat the pasta but it isn’t overly wet⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • Turn heat back on if needed to ensure peas are deforested, salmon cooked through and all is hot⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • Wash lemon, grate zest of lemon over and season with pepper and salt⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice
