
Ingredients ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- one packet of ready rolled puff pastry⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- tomato paste + some passata or tomato sauce⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- toppings – charcuterie (packet brought)/tomato’s/peppers/sundries tomato’s /mushrooms/sweetcorn/cold sausages…anything⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- one ball mozzarella⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Method
- turn oven on to 108oC
- unroll puff pastry sheet & fold each edge in on itself to form a raised crust, push this down with a fork all the way round towards the centre. Prick the rest of the pastry all over and pop in the oven for 15 minutes
- remove from the oven and press down the centre but with a fork to release any steam⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- add tomato paste & other tomato base and spread to cover puff pastry (except the sides)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- add as many or as few toppings as you like, make sure to rinse any veg before using⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- spread cheese evenly on top ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- return to the oven for a further 10 minutes, if the cheese needs it switch to grill mode for the last 5 minutes⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- remove from oven, allow to cool for a couple of minutes if you can resist and then dig in…put a salad out too so you have some greens and it feels a little more like a balanced meal!!!
